This series explores the instability of memory and perception through archival photographic transparencies transformed into illuminated objects. Archival transparencies are encased within acrylic panels whose abraded and painted surfaces glow under LED illumination, partially obscuring the images beneath. The resulting works resist photography's promise of clarity, suggesting that what is lost, concealed, or remembered imperfectly often carries greater emotional weight than what remains fully visible.

Using archival transparencies of the human figure, these works explore the tension between presence and disappearance. The photographs are suspended within illuminated acrylic whose abraded, painted surface interrupts and diffuses the image beneath. Light transforms the marks into a luminous haze, creating the impression that the body is dissolving rather than simply concealed. The work suggests the gradual erosion of memory, identity and physical presence.
